We also augment this with specialist in house training to ensure our customers get the correct advice and that all of our staff can present the features and benefits of the products that we sell. Irrigation and Effluent Disposal
Owens of Warrnambool Irrigation Division has a design and installation team that will provide you with a Certified Design that meets or exceeds Irrigation Australia Ltd, best practice. We have a professional team with varied experience in Irrigation design and installation from the small home garden to the large farm pivots of up to 200 acres and Local Government projects using recycled town water pumped up to three kilometres and distributed to 4 cropping areas under a towable pivot of 250 metres.
Owens has developed a Superfast yard wash that gives outstanding results and saves valuable time in the yard washing cycle.
Owens has sophisticated GPS equipment to ensure that all sites are measured and that elevation and positioning is correct.
We pressure test all of our underground pipe work to 20% above the pump shut off head. Owens pride themselves on the quality of their workmanship.
Engineering
The team in the engineering division have a complementary range of skills to tackle a huge of tasks. Our small engine Master Mechanic has 35 years experience. He also is very skilled at servicing soft and hard hose irrigators. The balance of the team is able to repair and fabricate machinery utilising skills in Mig and Tig welding along with arc and, stainless and aluminium welding. Fitting and turning and pump repairs are all part of the daily workload.
